The 10,000 feet of fresh-cut California pepper branches, used overhead, would last only two days, so flowers and props had to be completed in one day.

Two 18-foot-tall floral displays commanded the entryway. Ten-foot-tall Flemish-style arrangements graced buffets. Table centerpieces featured golden candelabra with votives that appeared to float over low arrangements of flowers, lemons and grapes.
