Indian Harvest has introduced a line of unique, heirloom grains and legumes for chefs.

The line includes Eighth Wonder Tinawon Fancy Rice, a fair-trade rice grown on the rice terraces of the island of Luzon in the northern Philippines.

The rice, which is white with brown speckles, has a mild, nutty flavor and a fragrance akin to popcorn when cooked, the distributor says.

Other products include Charcoal Wheat, Kalinga Unoy Rice, Ulikan Red Rice (pictured) and Wild Black Quinoa.

The product is available in 2-pound sleeves.
