How do you serve 5,500 guests over 18 days for a high-profile corporation during the 2010 Olympics? Vancouver's Culinary Capers Catering shows its winning style in an event that just won a Gala Award at The Special Event 2011. Photos by Brian Dennehy.

A year's worth of planning went into the event, which required a staff of more than 500, including 250 contract chefs, event and kitchen staff in addition to Culinary Capers' regular staff.
