MPI Offers Industry Software Guide Meeting Professionals International has published The Ultimate Meeting Professional's Software Guide, with descriptions of 180 meeting industry software packages. Corbin Ball, CMP, owner of Bellingham, Wash.-based Corbin Ball Associates, is the author.

The guide costs $25 for MPI members and $35 for non-members and is sponsored by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, White Plains, N.Y.

NRA Educational Foundation Honors Leaders The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation announced this year's recipients of the College of Diplomates Award and the Thad and Alice Eure Ambassador of Hospitality Award for contributions to restaurant and hospitality education.

The 2000 College of Diplomates inductees are Ella Brennan, managing partner, Commander's Palace, New Orleans; Richard Marriott, chairman of the board, Host Marriott, Bethesda, Md.; and Robert Rich Jr., president, Rich Products, Buffalo, N.Y.

The 2000 Ambassador of Hospital- ity Award recipient is Morris Gaebe, chairman and chancellor of Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I.

Recipients will be honored May 20 at the NRA Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show in Chicago.

SITE European University Set for Belgium The Society of Incentive & Travel Executives' European University will be held March 19-23 at Hotel Crowne Plaza Brugge in Bruges, Belgium.

Themes will include individual growth in the changing world, the influence of new technology, and marketplace trends and expectations.

Mountaineer and author Joe Simpson will be the keynote speaker. Registration is $525 for SITE members, $575 for associate members and $625 for non-members.
