Imagination to spearhead ‘Superleague Formula’ London-based Imagination announced yesterday that it has been named the global brand consultancy for a ground-breaking new sport, Superleague Formula, a blend of car races and soccer featuring high-performance single-seater vehicles bearing the colors of leading soccer (football) teams from across the world. Having worked closely with the team for over a year to help establish the sport’s communications strategy in its developmental stage, Imagination is now working as ‘brand guardian’ for Superleague Formula to develop a range of strategic communications tools, the company said. Imagination will continue to work as partner with the Superleague Formula team throughout 2007, concentrating on developing activation activities for sponsors and working to establish a weekend of entertainment at each race meeting …

Carlson and Enpocket to partner Minneapolis-based Carlson Marketing announced Monday that it allied itself with Boston-based Enpocket to use Enpocket’s technology to fuel the mobile components of Carlson’s marketing services. Under the new partnership, Carlson will use the Enpocket platform across its array of marketing services to serve Carlson’s global client base in areas such as loyalty marketing, employee recognition and events. “As we strive to help our clients create two-way dialogue and build lasting relationships with their customers, channel partners and employees, we are making significant investments around the mobile device,” said Carlson Marketing vice president of Interactive marketing Douglas Rozen.
