New Orleans projecting strong 4th quarter With the broadcast of the New Orleans Saints-Atlanta Falcons football game last week, held in New Orleans' Superdome, drawing the largest number of viewers in ESPN history, New Orleans officials are predicting strong tourism in 2006's fourth quarter. Chicago Party Rental picks up Distinctive Event Productions Party rental powerhouse Chicago Party Rental of McCook, Ill., announced last week that it acquired Distinctive Event Productions, a decor and prop specialist based in Oak Brook, Ill. Protestors target hotels near LAX Some 2,000 protestors criticizing labor practices at hotels near Los Angeles International Airport temporarily shut down Century Boulevard last week in what police called the largest act of civil disobedience in a generation. About 300 people were arrested peacefully. Protestors sat in front of the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel and the Westin Hotel.
