Alfalfa sprouts recalled for salmonella Caldwell Fresh Foods of Maywood, Calif., on Friday voluntarily recalled all its alfalfa sprouts manufactured under the Caldwell Fresh Foods, Nature's Choice and California Exotics brands; the product has been associated with an outbreak of salmonella that has sickened 20 people in 10 states.
