Gala Award winners jubilant at The Special Event

A crowd of 900 guests at black-tie gala last night at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center, Las Vegas, applauded the winners of the Special Events Magazine Gala Awards competition, considered the most prestigious in the special event industry. The Gala Awards ceremony concluded The Special Event trade show.

Winners competed in categories ranging from Best Floral to Best Achievement in Event Rental Support. The winners were chosen by the Special Events Magazine advisory board.

A special award recognized the late Clifford Wallace, a widely beloved event professional and ISES leader.

The winners will be profiled in the March issue of the magazine, which will also include a wrap-up of the show.

The gala was the grand finale of The Special Event trade show and conference, produced by Primedia Business Exhibitions to serve the special event profession.
