Imagination Wins Shell Exhibition Account

Powerhouse communications company Imagination, headquartered in London, today announced it has been awarded the contract for Shell's global exhibition program after an "intense" pitch process involving five eminent design and event agencies.

Imagination will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency, design and content management, and the implementation of all Shell exhibitions and trade shows worldwide, a company spokesperson said.

Included on the Special Events Magazine "50 Top Event Companies" list, Imagination operates a network of 10 offices worldwide. It has delivered the global auto-show program for Ford Motor Co. since 1999.

"This is a very important client for us to secure," said Imagination founder and CEO Gary Withers. "We look forward to supporting Shell worldwide, drawing on the resources of our network to deliver a wide range of communication."

Richard Foulkes, Imagination global account director for Shell, added, "This was a real team effort and we are all very enthusiastic about the opportunity of working alongside one of the world's greatest brands. We look forward to developing this relationship over time."
