When it comes to corporate events, the in-house experts are feeling a bite on business. After six years of growing optimism, only 19 percent say they will host more events this year than last, a 10 percent dip from the results of the 2007 poll. However, the situation may steady itself in 2009. While down 12 points from last year's forecast, 30 percent of respondents say they expect to host more events in 2009 than they will this year, and fully 64 percent say they expect to stage the same number of events next year as they will this year.
