Despite the ongoing economic slump felt virtually worldwide, our annual "50 Top" list taken as a whole represents a whopping $1.5 billion industry. And while the performances of individual companies vary widely, mega events such as the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Shanghai's World Expo and the FIFA World Cup in South Africa have been a boon to many in 2010.

Indeed, our big players project total revenue this year will be virtually even with 2009, down only 1 percent.
