The Dow Chemical Co. makes Styrofoam brand foam for use in the floral industry; new for florists is the Web site www.styrofoamflorals.com. Another new product from the company is the Ribbon of Hope, a new shape of pre-cut foam resembling awareness ribbons. The shapes measure 18- or 24-inches tall and can be covered with paint, ribbons or flowers.
