The pigmented colors provide a semiopaque to opaque overage in more than 50 colors, including metallics. The ultra-fine mist provides color coverage without a thick coat of paint or excessive spray dust. New Special Effects Fan Available from Elation
The new Antari AF-5 special effects fan, distributed in North America by Elation Professional, offers three different fan speeds to give event designers tight control over the level of wind they introduce to stages, dance floors and other settings. Along with creating wind, the fan can be used to make fog, haze, snow and bubbles travel farther and higher, the company says. Made of durable polypropylene, the unit is sturdy enough for touring applications yet is also compact, lightweight and easy to transport, according to the company. OC International Debuts "Eco" Chiavaris
The new "Eco" chiavaris from OC International are made from 50 percent post-consumer material in earth tone colors. The chairs are designed to present a "green" alternative to the virgin plastic and wooden chairs more common in the industry, according to the manufacturer. The company also has debuted its "Reiya" collection of chairs, which features a retro, "Mad Men"-era style with smooth curves and a glossy finish. The Reiya line is made by molding polycarbonate with a custom-blended soft-touch thermoplastic that has been treated with antimicrobial protection, the company says.
