ARCHITECTURAL HOLIDAYS, AMENIA, N.Y.
This vintage-themed table pays homage to 18th century architecture with its classic blue and white color palette and clever usage of historic artifacts, such as plaster ceiling medallions as coasters and place cards made of Victorian wooden plinths. Deep-blue brushed polyester linens are topped with an overlay of blue and white brocade upholstery fabric, while Delft tiles placed end to end serve as a table runner. China in reproduction English blue and white transferware depicts historic American buildings, as do the tulip-shaped glasses, which were selected to symbolize the early Dutch settlers in America. The centerpiece — an antique stained glass window sash — reiterates the tulip motif, completing the vintage effect.
SYZYGY EVENTS, GAITHERSBURG, MD.
Much like its namesake cocktail, this tabletop — named winner in its category — is all about sparkle and sophistication. A frosted acrylic base lighted in dramatic fuchsia is topped with a clear acrylic tabletop etched with swirls of gold, echoing the look of the signature cocktail. A hot-pink LED cherry tree wrapped in pieces of sugar candy bark and dripping with icy crystals emerges through the base, providing a dramatic, sparkling centerpiece. Gold and clear glass chargers are paired with gold cutlery, gold silk napkins and gold mosaic martini shakers, while opalescent candlesticks and gold metallic succulents provide the final touch. Ghost chairs add a clean, chic, translucent effect.

“BLOOMING GARDEN OF SPLENDOR”
MOSAIC INC., PITTSBURGH
Elements of nature and whimsical details combine to create a table that casts an ethereal, dreamy spell. A canopy of richly textured pale pink fabric embellished with blooming cherry branches sets the stage for a romantic table dressed in matching pink fabric and paired with a curved white leather banquette and white tulle-covered ottomans. A low, lush centerpiece of roses and tea roses along with pink tapers add elegance to the table, as do platinum-banded plates and glassware. “?? XX OR XY ?”
RENTALS UNLIMITED, STOUGHTON, MASS.
With its bright pink, blue and green color palette, this tabletop designed for a “gender reveal” baby shower poses the question, is it a boy or a girl? The secret is held within the centerpiece — a cake, either pink or blue inside, frosted with white fondant and decorated with pink and blue polka dots and question-mark candles. A collection of floral pom pom arrangements, including hydrangeas and zinnias, adds to the whimsy, as do the vivid lime-green place mats and matching linens. A custom-designed lime green overlay and chair covers complete the look.
“UNLOCKING A LOVE STORY”
SUZANNE NICHOLS DESIGN GROUP INC., SANFORD, FLA.
A Baroque-era love story was the inspiration for this romantic, pastel-hued tabletop featuring shimmery, “shabby chic” pink-peach table linens. Vintage teacups paired with gold-beaded glass plates and gold flatware add a dainty look, while a towering candelabra centerpiece — which incorporates roses, hydrangeas, feathers, strands of pearls, and even pages from old books — lends visual drama. Clear chiavari chairs are adorned with gold accents and tulle, while antique clocks and menu cards embellished with chocolate keys at each place setting provide a sweet ending to this love story.
