Battery-powered LED Fixture Offered
New from Chroma Q, the Color Charge LED fixture is designed to provide battery-powered, wireless lighting in temporary installations where wiring is a challenge and quick installation is critical, according to the manufacturer. The unit features wireless DMX control and syncing between units, allowing connection of up to 512 fixtures on a single network. The battery lasts up to 30 hours and will take up to 1,000 recharges, the manufacturer says. The unit features a 600-lumen output; a built-in charger enables it to continue being used while it recharges.

High-end Floor Vinyl New from Holo-Walls
Holo-Walls has debuted a new line of premium gloss white floor vinyl that is ideal for high-end applications such as pure white, frameless dance floors and fashion-show runways, the company says. The product is easy to install and remove, and features a new "air release" adhesive that eradicates air bubbles. The black backing hides underlying floor patterns and colors. The 54-inch-wide product is available in 50-yard rolls, enough to cover more than 650 square feet.

"Super Planner" iPhone App Available
The new "Super Planner" iPhone app, developed by veteran event producer Howard Givner, offers a range of tools designed for the event professional including calculators for venue capacity, staffing, catering, staging, projection and dance floors, along with time-tested suggestions. The catering feature calculates the number of hors d'oeuvre and drinks needed for various types of events, including the number of drinks per bottle for wine, champagne and liquor. The table grid feature lists the linen sizes needed for each table size and shows how many guests can fit at each table. The app—for sale at the iTunes App Store—is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
