Benchmark Offers Ink-jet Printed Flooring
Benchmark Imaging & Display has introduced new custom-printed flooring ideally suited for trade-show exhibits, the company says. The flooring is made of three layers: a 2-mm thick PVC-over-laminate with a textured, non-skid surface, a center layer with UV ink-jet imaging, and a 1/8-inch bottom layer of closed cell foam that is cushioned for comfortable walking or standing. Imaging can range from a simple logo to a dramatic image, according to the company. The flooring comes in 5-by-10-foot matching sections with two sections making up a typical 10-by-10-foot show booth floor. The two sections roll up and pack into a 60-by-12-inch shipping tube complete with a handle and wheels.

insect repellant lantern

ThermaCell Lanterns Repel Insects
The ThermaCell lantern can repel insects in a 15-by-15-foot outdoor area within minutes, according to the company. Designed to be affordable and portable, the lanterns do not contain DEET. They operate on a single butane cartridge, which heats a mat releasing allethrin, a synthetic copy of a natural insecticide found in chrysanthemums, the company says. Each repellant mat provides up to four hours of protection, and each butane cartridge provides up to 12 hours of operation. The lanterns run on four AA batteries.
