on-site ice cream freezer

Freeze -321 Degrees Creates "Instant" Ice Cream

The Freeze -321 Degrees system is a mobile, self-contained liquid nitrogen system that creates ice cream, gelato, sorbet and nitrogen shots on site for special events. Guests can watch and even participate as the desserts are made; flavors range from classics such as Tahitian Vanilla and Godiva Chocolate to Lemon Thyme and Rosemary Cashew, the company says. Each station comes equipped with one 1,000-watt mixer and 7-quart stainless steel bowls with handles, a splash guard and a custom condiments bar. The units use standard 110 v power and are easy to set up and store, the manufacturer says.

Healthy Cocktail Mixes Available from Freshies

The Freshies company offers cocktail mixes designed to provide a more healthful alternative to the high-fructose corn syrup and synthetic flavors used in traditional mixes, the manufacturer says. The mixes use only fresh-squeezed juices, whole sugars and all-natural spices and ingredients. The line includes mixes for Bloody Marys, margaritas, mojitos and specialty martinis along with sweet-and-sour mix. The company also offers rim powders in a variety of colors.

on-site water purfication system

Vivreau Offers Purified Water for Special Events

The Vivreau water purification system enables event venues, hotels and restaurants to produce purified chilled still or sparking water without creating the waste generated by water bottles, the manufacturer says. The 2-by-3-foot unit can be connected to the main water line of the business, then fill resuable bottles with purified water. The system uses an "ice bank" refrigeration technology that produces high volumes of water on demand, relieving the pressure on refrigerated storage while meeting the needs of busy operations, the manufacturer says.
