The International Special Events Society announced Monday that it will extend early-bird discount registration for the Eventworld conference for special event professionals until July 24. The early-bird discount saves registrants $150.

Eventworld 2009 runs Aug. 6-8 at host hotel San Francisco Marriott.

Program highlights include keynote speaker Simon T. Bailey speaking on "Release Your Brilliance: How to Reposition, Reconnect and Re-emerge in Times of Change."

The featured speaker is Dallas-based celebrity planner Steve Kemble, who will present "Hot and Sassy Trends." His blog offers all of the session essentials; visit www.stevekemble.com/blog.

The education roster is broken into tracks for event professionals in all stages of their careers: Skilled Professional, Seasoned Professional and Novice Professional.
