Confetti: TREMENDOUS TRIBUTE

Share

Fourth Phase Image Systems Group helped keep the memory of Sept. 11 victims alive with its contribution to the Super Bowl XXXVI half-time show. The New Jersey-based lighting company — a specialist in large-format projection — used Xenon PIGI film projectors to create a scrolling display of the names of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack. Names were projected on a 120-foot-high by 60-foot-wide soft screen that served as a backdrop to a moving tribute by Irish rock band U2. Other recent events that have used this technology include the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, the MTV Music Video Awards and the NHL All-Star celebration.
