The 2002 ISES Conference for Professional Development will take place Aug. 2-5 in Sydney. Event managers, venue operators, caterers, technical directors and other industry professionals have been invited to the annual meeting to “contribute, challenge and commit to the professional development of the events industry,” according to ISES.

Four education “streams” are designed to accommodate attendees of all experience levels: Global University will use the input of senior industry members to draft a white paper on international industry standards; Business Managers will focus on skills training and effective communication; For Innovators will explore technological advances; and the Certification stream will offer CSEP exam training.
