THE ISES NEW YORK Metro Chapter raised more than $14,000 for the SEARCH Foun-dation at an April fund-raising event honoring SEARCH founding chairman Richard Aaron, CSEP, CMP, at the New York Aquarium at Coney Island. SEARCH-Special Event Industry, Aid & Response for Care & Hope-is a nonprofit organization providing support to special event industry members and their families afflicted with life-threatening illnesses or other catastrophes.

Marty Greenstein, CSEP, of New York-based Enchanted Parties and Frank Puleo of Framboise Catering, Staten Island, N.Y., spearheaded production of the event. The National Caterers Association donated the food.

More than 200 guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvre, a Caribbean steel drum band, fortune tellers, a dolphin show and an undersea view of walruses and penguins.

"I am thrilled to see the outstanding support for the foundation in creating a legacy of care," said Aaron. "New York has set the standard for future fund-raisers for SEARCH."

SEARCH can be reached at 212/350-0000, ext. 329.
