CONFETTI: TALKING NAME TAG

Share

A badge for name alone? Not the interactive nTAG. This LCD-screen badge uses infrared sensing and an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system to let the wearer exchange data with other badge-bearing event attendees. Worn just like a paper badge, nTAGs are pre-loaded with information based on attendee responses to questionnaires supplied by the event organizer before the event, or through on-site kiosks. As attendees approach each other, nTAGs transfer data, then display information about shared interests: “Hi, Karen. We both work in the fashion apparel industry.” Meanwhile, event organizers can monitor nTAG interactions through a central server, allowing them to pick up polling data and distribute messages regarding schedule changes and other event updates. For details call New York-based nTAG at 212/721-4979 or visit www.ntag.com.
