Attendees are signing up in record numbers for the largest trade show and conference in the history of The Special Event. Already, three of the showcasing events are sold out but space is still available at other in-demand events including the Gala Awards and Celebration, the Welcome Event (co-hosted by NACE) at the California Science Center, and the "Diva Bling" Opening Night Party.

The Special Event 2007, which runs Jan. 9-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, offers event professionals the best and most comprehensive event education available with more than 100 sessions in eight tracks.

This year’s record-setting trade show floor will feature more than 300 exhibitors and a host of not-to-be-missed features including the AIFD Flower Design Presentations, the Performance Stage and the dazzling Tabletop Gallery.

STOP AND SCHMOOZE

For those who want to get acquainted with the show and discover its many amazing facets, just attend one of the introductory sessions first thing on Tuesday, Jan. 9--"Schmoozefest 2007," hosted by Audrey Gordon, or the "International Attendees Orientation," hosted by Sally Webb. And tickets are still available for the first event of the show, "TSE Starts Here," on Monday night, Jan. 8, at the boutique Hotel Figueroa.

SEEK OUT SEARCH

Once again, the SEARCH Cabaret fundraiser will benefit event professionals in need. The event starts at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles with a silent auction and casino, followed by talented performers, a live auction and a DJ keeping the tunes pumping till 1:30 a.m.
