Classic Party Rentals, based in Culver City, Calif., announced Friday that it has acquired Sisters Party Rentals, a prominent special event rental company located in South San Francisco, Calif. With the acquisition of Sisters, Classic now has a total of eight locations, all in California.

“With the acquisition of Sisters, we feel that our combined companies can service our clientele with a more complete line of equipment and the highest level of customer service and satisfaction,” said John Moran, president of Classic.

“This was a very difficult decision, but we felt Classic provided the best fit for our customers and employees and this will allow us to spend more time with our family and grandchildren,” said Betsy Stone, co-owner of Sisters. “We have a great team and a strong focus on customer service and feel confident about the future of Classic,” added co-owner Herb Stone. The Stones will be retained by Classic as consultants to assist with the transition.

Hageman, Stansberry & Associates, Cameron Park, Calif., managed the transaction on behalf of Sisters. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
