Grosvenor Resort at Walt Disney World to waive 2003 group cancellation, attrition fees

The Grosvenor Resort Walt Disney World announced today that it will waive all cancellation and attrition fees for meetings and other group functions booked after April 29 and held by Dec. 31.

"We want planners to realize they won't face substantial charges if they're forced to cancel a meeting or if attendance turns out to be smaller than originally planned," said Ray Filippone, the resort's director of sales and marketing. "By eliminating a group's downside financial risk, we hope to ease some of the concerns that have arisen since Sept. 11."

Located within Walt Disney World Resort, the Grosvenor offers 19,000 square feet of function space, including a ballroom, conference center and five hospitality suites. All meeting rooms are pre-wired with high-speed T-1 Internet access, and a full-time professional audio/visual staff is available to assist planners with their events.

The resort also offers free transportation to the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center and provides complimentary shuttle service to Disney theme parks and shops and restaurants in Downtown Disney's West Side and the Marketplace.
