Paint the Town Red

has announced it will provide a number of services to assist event industry professionals in getting information and organizing efforts related to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11. According to company president Howard Givner, Paint the Town Red staff members will provide status reports on event locations affected by the World Trade Center collapse, including those that have been damaged and those that are inaccessible due to transit restrictions. The company will also offer its free location referral service, with a database of several hundred Manhattan event sites, to help event producers and their clients find alternate locations for events that may be affected. Givner adds that his company will help event firms organize “Town Hall”-style meetings in which corporate leaders can reassure and communicate new developments to employees, and will help affected companies organize memorial services as needed. For more information, contact Howard Givner, Paint the Town Red, 62 W. 45th St., Ninth Floor, New York, NY 10036; 212/677-3173, ext. 223;
