Chicago-based event producer Paulette Wolf Events & Entertainment announced Tuesday that it has opened an office in Athens to service events it hopes to produce for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.

The Wolf Co. handled entertainment production in the Athlete Village for the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996.

Jodi Wolf, company president, said that she and her staff have been traveling to Athens to survey event sites, interview potential vendors and meet with heads of government ministries. In addition to pursing business opportunities in the Olympics Village and Athlete Village, the Wolf Co. is also contacting organizations about managing events not associated with but slated to occur during the Olympics.
