Special event professionals from around the world will convene in Phoenix today for The Special Event 2002, sponsored by Special Events Magazine and CMI, both publications of Primedia Business Magazines & Media. The conference and trade show runs Jan. 9-12 at Phoenix Civic Plaza.

More than 300 exhibitors are expected to be on hand with the latest products and services for event professionals in lighting, linen, foodservice, decor, furniture, tabletop products and many more.
