Ohana Partners, Inc.--the parent company of The Party Company in Fremont, Taylor Rental Center in Castro Valley, and Porter Rents in Mountain View, all in California—announced today that has acquired The Stuart Rental Co., a special event rental and production company based in Milpitas, Calif., from Stellar Event and Presentation Resources of Houston, Texas.

“With the acquisition of the Stuart Rental Co., we are able to consolidate our operations while gaining a high-profile company with first-rate management and production teams,” said Michael Berman, president of Ohana Partners. “We are now better able to fully serve the entire San Francisco Bay area with a high-quality selection of products and services.”

Hageman, Stansberry & Associates represented Stellar Event and Presentation Resources in the transaction; terms were not disclosed.

Once regarded as a harbinger of event industry consolidation, Stellar has recently been selling off pieces of its nationwide event network.
