Who’s client is it, anyway?

Nearly three-fourths of respondents to a Special Events Magazine online survey last week said they have had a subcontractor claim he or she was hired by the planner’s client. Only 28 percent of respondents said they had never experienced the problem.

The issue of who hired whom is an ongoing ethical dilemma for event professionals.
