Special events business news this week includes the expansion of Kool Party Rentals to Hawaii

Phoenix-based event furniture and decor rental company Kool Party Rentals announced yesterday that it has formed a partnership with Hawaii-based Event Accents, sister company of production and design company Current Affairs, which is headed by Phillip Richards, to offer Kool products in Hawaii. Terms of the partnership were not disclosed. Kool president Jack Weiner [pictured above] was just listed on the 2015 Special Events "25 Young Event Pros to Watch"

Veteran South Florida event producer Robert Lentoski has announced the launch of Get More Productions, a full-service event production company specializing in auto dealership, charitable and lifestyle events. The company headquarters is located in Coconut Creek, Fla., and includes 4,000 square feet of warehouse space housing a photo studio, high-tech sound systems and battery-powered LED lighting …

The Event Safety Alliance, headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., announced yesterday that it has formed a strategic partnership with Dutch public events organization Vereniging van EvenementenMakers. Operating as international affiliates of the ESA, the organizations will collaborate on the creation of a Dutch edition of the Event Safety Guide, as well as the mutual recognition and promotion of each group’s safety training programs …

The U.S. party and event rental revenue is projected to grow 4 percent in 2015 and 4.3 percent in 2016, according to a forecast released this week by the American Rental Association. The association predicts growth slowing to 1.9 percent in 2017, 2.0 percent in 2018 and 1.8 percent in 2019 …
