Tent manufacturers Anchor Industries, based in Evansville, Ind., and Roder Zeltsysteme and Service AG, based in Budingen, Germany, announced on Thursday a strategic alliance giving Anchor the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute Roder AG clear-span systems in North America.

“By manufacturing these clear-span structures in the U.S., we are eliminating the long lead times, duties and exorbitant shipping costs that have been typical when importing these structures from Europe,” said Pete Mogavero, Anchor CEO.

“We are convinced that our cooperation invents a new model of serving existing and future customers in the U.S. European design, German engineering, American manufacturing excellence, and customer orientation will distribute an extraordinary level of benefit to our common markets,” added Rudiger Blasius, Roder CEO
