The Convention Industry Council announced Friday that the application for its Certified Meeting Professional designation is and the "CMP Handbook" are now available as free dowloads from its Web site. Free online availability "gives meeting planners the ability to map out their careers, and provides employers with an added awareness of CMPs' knowledge base and the value that they bring to an organization," the organization said in a release.
