Los Angeles-based party rental giant Classic Party Rentals and Chameleon Chairs, also based in Los Angeles, announced last week that they have entered an exclusive national marketing agreement whereby Chameleon’s chairs and barstools will be available within the United States only through Classic or Chameleon.

Chameleon Chair will continue to operate as an independent company with its primary focus on southern California and Las Vegas, according to a statement released by Classic. Chameleon will continue to introduce new designs and products to the special event market and "to build the revenue base of both companies."

Per the agreement, Classic Party Rentals will have exclusive territories for the chairs and will inventory and rent the product in these areas. Initially, Classic will launch this alliance in San Francisco and Napa Valley, Calif., and Dallas, followed by Phoenix, Miami and Atlanta, all regions in which Classic now has rental outlets.

“This represents an important step to incorporate a great product into our client offering,” said John Campanelli, Classic president and CEO. “We will continue to provide our clients with the broadest array of inventory options available anywhere.”

This strategic alliance allows the Chameleon Chairs Collection to expand aggressively and to better meet customer demand for its products, the Classic statement said. "Chameleon’s chairs and barstools coupled with Classic’s established sales, servicing and transportation infrastructure, represent a powerful combination."

“Chameleon Chair has experienced significant customer demand for our products throughout the entire U.S.," said Chameleon vice president of sales and marketing Rhonda Couchigian. "Our alliance with Classic enhances our ability to meet this ever-growing interest over a wider geographic footprint. In addition, the Chameleon Chair Collection’s diverse line of innovative chairs, barstools and chair covers complement Classic’s product offerings and appeal to a wide variety of client needs and budgets."
