Event FX Productions, Drexel Hill, Pa., and BIG Events LLC, Cheltenham, Pa., have merged. Kristina Sumey, CSEP, formerly of Event FX Productions, is now president of BIG Events, a full-service event design and production company founded by her brother, Michael Cerelli.

Both Sumey and Cerelli have served as president of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ISES. Cerelli also served as regional vice president, and was the originator of Spectacular Special Effects, which made its first debut in Philadelphia in 1989.
