Special Events Magazine will send out notifications Nov. 10 to the outstanding event professionals selected as nominees for the 2004 Gala Awards. The award is considered the most prestigious in the event industry.

Nominees in 35 categories will receive recognition for their work ranging from Best Floral to Best Event Marketing Campaign.

The nominees were chosen by members of the magazine's Advisory Board in intense judging sessions at the magazine's Malibu, Calif., offices last month.

The nominees' entries will be taken to The Special Event show in Miami in January, where the Advisory Board will select the winners. The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala on Jan. 8.
