Culver City, Calif.-based Classic Party Rentals, the nation's largest full-service event rental company, announced today that printing executive John C. Campanelli has been named president and CEO of the company, replacing John P. Moran. Campanelli will also be a member of the company's board.

Before joining Classic, Campanelli spent 23 years at R.R. Donnelley, a Fortune 500 company and leading provider of print services. "I am excited about the opportunity to lead Classic and deliver on the vision of creating an exceptional service platform, dedicated to providing the highest quality services and equipment for the special event industry,” Campanelli said. “The company is part of the fabric of the communities we serve, and our employees take great pride in serving our clients.”

Moran led Classic through an extraordinary expansion phase, acquiring such marquee event rental brands as Sisters in San Francisco and, most recently, Regal Rents in Los Angeles.
