Visit London—-the organization charged with developing tourism to the city—-announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with the U.K. chapter of ISES to promote the value and professionalism of the event industry in London.

ISES will now support Visit London in the promotion of the capital as well as offering assistance in the bidding for major conferences and events in London.

“Whilst ISES UK is a national association, we fully recognize the exceptional role that London plays in staging live events for global organizations, and we are delighted that Visit London has identified our industry as a key selling point for the capital,” said Philip Hughes, ISES U.K. president.

The new partnership will also feature benefits for both ISES and Visit London members, including membership/partner offers and joint networking events.
