Designations matter, says MPI survey

Half of respondents to a survey on the MPI Web site say that professional designations--such as CMP, CSEP and CMM--are “very important” or “essential” in securing new business, getting a raise, or finding a new job in today’s competitive market.

Some 28 percent of respondents say that such designations are “somewhat important.” Seventeen percent say the designations are “not important.”
