The U.S. Department of Homeland Security plans to issue a new People Access Security Service--or PASS--card early next year to enable U.S. citizens to comply with the Dec. 31 requirement that they show a passport or other valid ID to reenter the country from Canada via air or sea. Saluting meeting planners and chiropractors The job "meeting and convention planner" has made the list of Money magazine's "50 Best Jobs in America", with an average pay of $56,000 and a 22 percent growth rate projected for the next 10 years. At No. 39, planners beat out "dentists" (at No. 43), but were bested by "chiropractors" (No. 14).
