All Occasions, LLC, the parent company of All Occasion Party Rentals of Knoxville, Tenn., announced Monday that it has acquired the Knoxville event rental location of HSS RentX, also based in that city. HSS RentX will retain its Knoxville tool rental division, located in an adjacent facility.

"RentX and its predecessor, Party Rentals, have been a part of the Knoxville community for over 25 years and have an excellent reputation with its customers," said Terry Turner, All Occasions president. "We are excited about the increased level of service we can provide for the customers of both companies." Chuck Rothstein, former owner of Party Rentals, is also a partner in All Occasions.

"We plan to focus on our tool rentals in the Knoxville area," said Tim Campbell, vice president of business development for HSS RentX. "We are pleased that we could return the special event rental operation to local ownership. Our customers and employees are familiar with and comfortable with Terry Turner and Chuck Rothstein. It's a good fit for all parties."

M&A firm Hageman, Stansberry & Associates (HS&A) represented HSS RentX in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
