Italian-based event company Input Group—included on the Special Events "50 Top Event Companies" list—announced today that it has opened its first North American office, in New York.

"Input Group is being restructured so that it can best dialogue on a global level with big clients," Input Group CEO Matteo Deninno said in a statement. "This is an evolution aiming at developing our business entering the events market by definition. We’re starting today with the two branches--Input Group Europe and Input Group North America--and will then go on to open new local offices that will serve to conquer wider and wider markets."

Dennis Gelbaum will take the post of chief operating officer of Input Group North America, with responsibility for introducing the range of services offered by Input into the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"What I have been offered is a challenge that I accept with great determination and with enthusiasm at being the representative of a long-standing, prestigious organization like Input Group in North America," Gelbaum said in a statement, "putting the technical and creative skill that has always distinguished this company at the service of American companies."
