Developed in response to customer demand, Torrance, Calif.-based Aztec Tents offers a new line of "Tidewater" sailcloth tents for fair-weather events. With their sculpted peaks and eaves, the tents offer nautical flair to events, while the "no valance" design creates an airy, open mood. The design allows plenty of light into the tented area during daytime events, while providing a cozy environment at night. The line weighs less than half that of equivalent-size vinyl tenting, the manufacturer says, which helps hold down labor and installation costs.
