The famed Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., announces the opening of its 44 new Broadmoor Cottages, suitable for events such as destination weddings and executive retreats, management says.

The cottages offer from one to eight bedrooms in up to 6,300 square feet. Interior features include parlors with high-beamed ceilings, wood-accented chandeliers and wood floors.

The cottages, which sit along the resort's East Course golf course, are surrounded by lush landscaping. Two large common areas—a 400 square-foot patio and a 4,000-square-foot patio—are available for events.

The larger patio includes electric power accessibility and embedded grommets for tenting.
