San Francisco Treat

Bong Su restaurant opened in May in San Francisco, offering small plates for sharing. The Vietnamese cuisine includes Shaking Beef--filet mignon served with garlic and onions--and Lemongrass Bass. The 6,000-square-foot space features a wall of windows; carefully arranged screens of wood and woven fabric create different seating configurations. Three private dining rooms offer more secluded seating options. A glass-encased wine display room is available by appointment for seminars and consultation on wine pairing. Call 415/536-5800, or visit www.bongsu.com.
