Ristorante Asellina Bows in New York
Making its debut in Manhattan's Gansevoort Park Hotel, Ristorante Asellina is a sleek, sophisticated space that can accommodate groups of up to 300 guests. Spaces within the restaurant include the front library, Taverna (for 150 guests) and outdoor patio (60 guests). The menu focuses on Italian food and includes hand-cut pasta, swordfish carpaccio with pink peppercorns, grilled calamari with sauteed asparagus and oven-dried tomatoes, wood-fired meatballs with cannellini beans, culatello and fontina cheese, and citrus panna cotta topped with candied pistachios.

The James Chicago Updates Look
The James Chicago has launched a program to update its furnishings and offer new eco-friendly services. Located near the Magnificent Mile on Ontario Avenue, the 297-guestroom property offers its signature "Curated Meeting Breaks"—such as the World of Tea, bourbon tastings and a chocolate workshop—to engage attendees. Event spaces include the 2,650-square-foot Great Room, which features skylights and a beautiful bar, the 1,200-square-foot Dining Room, and the 800-square-foot Library. The private dining room seats 10 guests in a 450-square-foot space.

Shore Hotel to Open in October in Santa Monica
Opening in October on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, Calif., the Shore Hotel will offer dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean in a Silver LEED-certified property. The property will offer 164 guest rooms and an 800-square-foot dedicated event space. Amenities include two restaurants, a fitness center and underground parking. The hotel's "green concierge" is an electronic compendium giving guests access to a range of eco-friendly activities including sustainable dining, shopping and transportation options.
