Boyne Mountain, located in Boyne Falls, Mich., offers a reconstructed lower level of its convention center as part of a $2.5 million renovation. A Swiss-Austrian theme is carried out with pine doors, antique ski equipment and hand-painted murals. Other improvements include wrought iron accents and recessed lighting. Overall, Boyne Mountain features 37,000 square feet of event space, with audiovisual and drop-down projection screens. The lower level's movable walls allow the space to be divided into seven breakout rooms; taken as a whole, it is large enough for 300 guests.
