The Broadmoor, located in Colorado Springs, Colo., announced yesterday that will be provide a guarantee for group business held in 2009 and 2010; management vows that if a client's meeting doesn't deliver "superior value" in service, facilities and quality, the master account will be waived. "I can't think of a better way to assure that decision then by guaranteeing the outcome, or the entire meeting is free," president and CEO Steve Bartolin said in a statement. "To my knowledge, this has never been done before and it demonstrates the confidence we have in our staff.” The property offers 46 adaptable meeting and function rooms that can accommodate groups from five to 2,500. Broadmoor Hall offers 60,000 square feet of pillar-free, carpeted meeting space. The newly remodeled Cheyenne Lounge is a 6,300-square-foot mountain lodge offering indoor and outdoor event spaces.
