InterContinental Hotels Group announced Friday the opening of the new Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago-Northbrook, located just north of Chicago. The property, the result of a $16 million renovation of a former Radisson, offers 19 meeting rooms and 15,000 square feet of flexible, upscale meeting space. Other amenities at the seven-story, 318-room hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and 24-hour business center. The hotel is 20 minutes from downtown Chicago and 9 miles from O'Hare International Airport; nearby headquarters include Allstate, Kraft, Walgreens, Siemens and Anixter. Click for more information.
