The fondue restaurant The Melting Pot has opened a new location in San Clemente, Calif., measuring 6,400 square feet; the private banquet room accommodates 52 guests and has a private patio. Decor elements include glass chandeliers, and charcoal and gold hues; a 1,800-bottle wine cellar is also on the premises. Appetizers, dinner and dessert can all feature fondue--from cheese to chocolate, with dippers such as duck, lobster, cheesecake and brownies.
